Advanced Digital, Inc. has an immediate need for a remote Web App Designer/Developer for our growing team in Niceville, FL. We are searching for an entry to mid-level web app developer that has a passion to continually learn, collaborate and grow.
DUTIES:
• Maintaining a high awareness of industry trends and technologies with regards to web application development
• Developing web sites and applications using Responsive Web Design techniques
• Conceptualizes, plans, designs, and produces a wide range of specialized graphic and/or illustrative material to include multimedia concepts as appropriate
• Utilizing Bootstrap and or other front-end frameworks
• Building for cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility
• Designing website layouts for new/returning clients
• Creating and modifying content for client websites
• Building and maintaining Content Management System websites such as WordPress, etc.…
• Create re-usable code libraries and other strategies to streamline WordPress development
• Communicate with clients to assess needs and discuss project details
• Experience with Ecommerce platforms like WooCommerce, etc.…
• Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong understanding of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent HTML/CSS/PHP programming skills
• Excellent JavaScript/jQuery programming skills
• Knowledge of CSS and JavaScript frameworks
• Design knowledge/layout of website frameworks
• Experience building and using WordPress
• Strong responsive design skills (mobile-first design)
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• A proven ability to produce effective ideas under tight timelines
• Must be a self-starter and team player
BONUS SKILLS:
• Experience using web services and APIs to perform integrations
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and Experience Designer
• Ability to create high-quality designs for web sites and other user interfaces
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation
• Knowledge/Experience developing data bases
• Knowledge of best practices for ADA accessibility compliance
