It's time for my check in on our business page to acknowledge that Plaski Advertising still exists over here!! 👋😂

Because you wonderful people keep us SO busy, I'll always choose serving our clients over posting on our own page. As a result... this page gets a little neglected. It's a good problem to have🤎

Here's what we've been up to so far in 2026:

✨ Celebrated 3 years in business a few weeks ago
✨Built 12 new websites so far this year
✨Helped a client reach over 1M people through paid advertising
✨ Helped a local Indiana company increase their year-over-year revenue by 120% so far this year through strategic marketing 🥂
✨ Spent countless days creating photo and video content
✨Logged many strategy sessions
✨Managed a whole lot of Google and Meta Ads
✨Dove headfirst into AI search, helping businesses show up in ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI, and wherever search is headed next
✨Went back to what I call "Google school" to renew my certifications
✨Added a couple of awesome new team members!
✨Started reviving our blog by answering the questions we hear every week from local business owners
✨And somehow we're already spending a lot of our meetings planning for 2027 (🤯 )

It's been a full 7 months, and I genuinely couldn't be more grateful.

To every client who trusts us with your business, recommends us to a friend, or simply cheers us on... thank you. It means the world to this small crew. We never take your trust lightly, and getting to help bring your big ideas to life is something I'll never get over.

If our own social media gets neglected every now and then, just know it's because we're over here working hard ❤️

I absolutely loved working with Twin Oak Acres on their new logo and brand refresh! 🌿 It’s always exciting to help bring a vision to life, and I can’t wait to see everything else they have planned!

If you’re looking to support a wonderful family farm in eastern Kentucky, I can’t recommend them enough! They’ve spent spent nearly 2 decades growing quality sweet potatoes and was the first producer of Certified Sweet Potato Plants in Kentucky. I highly recommend checking them out 🧡

We’ve been hinting at some fun news, and it’s time to let everyone know what we’ve been working on! We decided it was time to refresh our logo and a few other things, and now we’re so happy to roll out our new logo! When you know a super-talented and creative marketing and advertising company owner it makes it such an easy process! When she’s a member of your family, that makes it even better! 🥰 Emily with Plaski Advertising did a fabulous job bringing our vision to life, and we’re so happy with our new logo. We wanted something that would let people know what we do, and Emily advised and guided us in the right direction! We’re working with a local company now to design tshirts and caps, so we’ll be doing some fun giveaways in the near future! 👕👚🧢 A revamp of our website is coming too, so stay tuned for more info about that. Thanks again to Emily McKnight for the beautiful artwork, and all the guidance and advice! If you need advertising/marketing advice, she’s your girl! 👏🏻

Thank you to the Town of Trafalgar for the kind recognition! It was a pleasure partnering with the town on helping bring their new branding to life ahead of the America’s 250th Celebration Parade!

A big shoutout to Casey Hartman for making it happen!! She installed every decal in a single day so everything was ready for the parade. Great teamwork all around!

Today I had the opportunity to have Keilyn job shadow me, and I hope I didn’t scare her off too bad 😅

We talked through what a normal day-to-day looks like in marketing… which honestly means no 2 days are ever the same. We went through how metrics help tell the story behind performance, how to identify opportunities for improvement, and how I onboard new social media clients by evaluating past content and building a plan for the future.

We also talked about the difference between organic vs. paid media, how businesses rank in Google search results, a general overview of Google Ads, and why understanding a client’s tone and audience matters so much when creating content.

More than anything, I was so impressed by how thoughtful she is! You can tell she has a passion for creativity and communication, and she asks really great questions.

One of the coolest parts of owning a business in a small community is getting opportunities like this. I think it’s so important for younger generations to get real-life exposure to different careers, ask questions, and see what happens outside of a classroom setting.

It was fun getting to share a little behind-the-scenes of what I do every day, and I’m excited to see where her future takes her! 🤍
