Customer Service Representative
Viking Label and Packaging | Nisswa, MN

Join a dedicated team that has been a staple of the Nisswa community since 1965. At Viking Label and Packaging, we pride ourselves on being a mid-size label converter with a small-town feel, serving multiple industries including food and beverage, health and beauty, automotive, and sporting goods. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the vital link between our sales team, production facility, and nationwide customer base.

What You’ll Do
• Account Management: Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, managing the entire lifecycle of an order from initial quote to final delivery.
• Order Processing: Accurately enter and process customer orders into our ERP system, ensuring all specifications match the client’s requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production, sales, and graphics teams within our Nisswa facility to ensure project timelines are met.
• Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment tracking, and quality concerns.
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in customer service or sales; familiarity with the packaging or printing industry is a major plus.
• Skills: Organized TEAM player, proficient in computer, email and phone systems along with the ability to learn complex ERP systems.
• Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a focus on active listening and conflict resolution.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high accuracy.

Location: Nisswa, Minnesota

Job Type: Full-Time | 2nd Shift, 3:00pm – 1:30am Monday - Thursday
Salary: $18 - $20 per hour DOQ
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Rewind Operator to join our printing production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating rewind machines to convert large rolls of printed or blank material into finished rolls according to customer specifications. Viking Label and Packaging has a longstanding presence in the Brainerd Lakes area, maintaining a stable work environment with competitive pay and benefits. Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate rewind machines efficiently and safely.
• Inspect materials for quality, defects, and accuracy, ensuring quality meets customer’s expectations.
• Measure, cut, and label finished rolls.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications:
• Ability to read, write and speak English language to effectively communicate with other employees across the organization.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull 50-75 lbs., 10-20 feet in distance and stand for extended periods (pre-employment key physical assessment test is required).
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control; ability to differentiate colors.
• Math skills – ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
