Look at the wonderful gift I just received for my six years of service on the Nixa Chamber of Commerce board of directors! Awards for past and outgoing board members were presented at the annual Nixie's Gala last month, but my hubby and I were not quite over the flu, so we were unable to attend. I received this beautiful award from Whitney and Emily at the chamber office this morning. I ♥️ my Nixa community and the chamber. I have great pride in my 24 years of being part of this wonderful city.

This is what progress looks like at my office! The new vinyl is going over the old vinyl today on the sign above my door. A huge shout out goes to M&G Signs in Nixa. They are one of my all-time favorite local sign companies and I've been using them for more than 20 years for projects big and small. Teresa, one of Mary and Gary's daughters, is on the ladder, and one of her brothers is on the roof. Teresa is an expert at vehicle wrap design and installation and started her own company a couple years ago, Transformed Wraps. She's an expert at graphic design and installation for individual and fleet vehicles. It's a beautiful day for an updated sign! And, in case you're wondering, yes, I still sell promotional items and embroidered and screen printed apparel... I just do it surrounded by my fabric store. 😁

Many XE employees, local business people, first responders, city employees, Nixa Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and more were on hand to help celebrate the expansion. Our business community stepping out to welcome new Nixa teachers is one of my favorite events each year. I'm always happy to be part of this crowd. ❤️ (I'm halfway up the stairs at standing next to Nixa Mayor Jarad Giddens. 🙂) Thank you, Nixa Chamber of Commerce for hosting this fantastic event.
