Someone on LinkedIn reached out to me today and said “Congrats on your 9 year anniversary at Noblesville Headshots! I honestly hadn’t even thought about it since I’ve been shooting pictures professionally for somewhere close to 17 years now BUT I guess branding a second business with a specific intention is a big deal and I should celebrate surviving & thriving 9 years! The Headshot side of my business has just exploded in the last few years with my partnership with , Noblesville Schools and so many Big & Small businesses around Central Indiana. I’ve been able to cut my Wedding Business in half because of the amount of Headshot Opportunities I’ve had.
According to my Lightroom Catalog, this year alone I shot & edited somewhere around 6266 individual headshots of people! Many of those were part of large corporate multi-day shoots or Modeling Portfolios where I shot thousands of clicks but lots and lots of them were single individuals who climbed the two flights of stairs to my studio to spend a bit of time with me!
I’ve had a blast this year and grown so much! Its fitting that my Anniversary falls this year on the Weekend of the Miss America Finals in Orlando, Florida where my two good friends, and .bauer_ are competing for Miss America Titles. It’s CRAZY every year at this time that I might actually be friends with the new Miss America! This year feels like it might be the one!!!
