While there are miles and miles of waterfront on the Albemarle Sound, not everyone enjoys the southern-to-western exposure that allows for year-round sunsets that you will find at Surfside A•Bandon. Our neighbors are always here to help, should any need arise. This is the simple life. One can easily find the value of this refuge by merely placing a glass of wine in hand and casting your eyes on the horizon. Sit at the water’s edge in the Adirondack chairs and listen to the sound...of the Sound. Unplug if you can for a bit. We have WiFi and Apple TV, but really, Surfside is where we all come to re-focus on the mental... spiritual...and tactile. Take a long walk. Have a long talk. Ride a bike. Grab a fishing rod. Go kayaking if it is calm and not too cool. Read a book. Do some journaling. Take pictures. Or....play some music and movies! Let’s go! LIVING ROOM
Welcome to the bridge! A 180-degree water view awaits, and it can be just as stunning under the sun as a bright moon-lit night. Bright hardwood floors reflect the abundant natural light. Deck access is easy through modern double sliding glass doors.

* Enjoy the glow of Surfside A•Bandon’s beautiful 60” Dimplex built-in Electric Fireplace and heater. Change color with the mood…add heat if needed.
* Games, puzzles and books. Please help yourself to a game of backgammon, playing cards or a fun puzzle! Our literary library is a bit on the tiny side, but you are welcome to peruse...or...start your own!
* WiFi - our CenturyLink service has password info listed on our router. With it, feel free to access your streaming services through AppleTV. It doesn’t exactly provide blazing internet speed, but it’s the max available at this time for this area.
* Music - Play some vinyl, a cassette, the radio or a CD. It’s old-school hi-fi, and all is powered through the Harmon Kardon receiver. You have plenty of choices! Should you have a playlist on your digital device that you would like to enjoy...just enable your Bluetooth and search for TIKITUNES or WONDERBOOM.
* Movies - There are dozens of recent releases and hundreds of classics in multiple film to choose from. All you have to do is make the popcorn Enjoy! BEDROOM
Sweet dreams await in your cozy Queen bed. Hang your things in the antique wardrobe or store in the rustic dresser/vanity. Illuminating ceiling fan brings the cool on demand. BATHROOM
Walk-in spacious tile shower and thick-pile absorbent cotton towels to relax the body. Slip into Surfside’s white cotton robes and take in the view. KITCHEN and DINING
Fully stocked modern kitchen with glass-top stainless range and full-size oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice maker. Professional Gas grill on the deck for you BBQ Masters. W&D Facilities are on the ground floor. Plenty of sheets, blankets and towels…we just ask you to launder the neccessities when you check out…nice and fresh for the next guest
