Sunday :

We didn’t get the rankings or results we wanted at Fair Hill, but we did accomplish our top two goals:

💙 We played well.
💙 We had fun!

We also got some great feedback from the judges, and we’re committed to coming back bigger and better in both corps for the Virginia Scottish Games on Aug. 30.

Congratulations to all the winning bands, especially St. Anthony's HS Pipe Band, who played after us in Grade 5 and delivered an upgrade-worthy performance.

Some individual shout-outs are warranted:

🏆 To Chris and Mike, for leading our first Grade 4 appearance since 2013.

🏆 To Thom and Ryan, for leading our Grade 5 band.

🏆 To Jake and Sydney, our Playing Instructors in Grade 5.

🏆 To Benji, Jim L. and Quan, who competed for the first time.

🏆 To Bryan and Marcus, who returned to the competition circle after long hiatuses.

Lastly, thank you to ALL of our pipers and drummers for doing the hard work and making the personal sacrifices that make trips like this so fulfilling.
