Three things coaches post that cross the line.

None of them look risky. That's the problem. They're the kind of copy you write in five minutes between clients, and all three would give an ICF assessor pause.

ICF Standard 5.2 asks you to be true and accurate about what you offer and what coaching can do. Most of us learned that as a rule about sessions. It's a rule about written statements, which means your captions count. So does your bio, your sales page, and every testimonial you've ever reposted.

Swipe for the three that come up most, and the safer version of each.

The promise. Anything you can't deliver every single time.
The credential. ICF credentials people, not programs, and it doesn't certify a specialty.
The therapy line. Healing, inner child work, processing. That's clinical language, and it's the one that draws a complaint.
You worked hard for your credential. Don't risk it on a post you didn't double-check.

I've built Mika, she reads your content before you publish and hands back a safer version. Mind the Line opens in September. Until then, I'm posting one real flagged phrase a week.

Save this one for your next caption.

A couple of months ago I made a site (or app? Not sure where this falls! It's a bit of both) I created in Lovable for Wheelz Entertainment Center

It's a fully functional ticketing app, along with skate rental, that integrates with Square, clears and resets the skate availability between sessions, and just overall ... works!

At the last event, someone asked if they could give the DJ a request. And you know, that planted a seed in my mind!

I built a song request feature. The building part took an afternoon. The rest of it took more thought, and tbh I'm still making tweaks.

Here's what it does. A skater pulls up the site on their phone via our QR code, drops their name and a song, and it lands in a portal the DJs log into. They see requests sorted by session and mark them played as they go.

Simple idea. The reality was messier. The ticket countdown froze at full capacity while tickets were actually selling. A slow background call was hanging the whole page. Cut it, and the real numbers came back.

The confirmation popup wasn't showing, so skaters had no idea their request went through. I swapped it for a message built into the card. Now they get a clear "locked in" the second they hit send.

The DJ login quietly expired overnight and showed an empty list, like nobody had requested a thing. I rewrote it to catch that and just ask them to log back in.
Then a decision that mattered more than it looked. Who gets to delete everything? The three DJs share one login. A clear-all button in their portal means any one of them could wipe every request, every session, on a bad night. So that button now lives behind the owner login instead. DJs play requests. Only the owner clears the board.

None of it's glamorous. It's the gap between a demo and something people can rely on at 9pm with a full floor.

This work keeps teaching me the same lesson. AI gets you to 'working' fast. Making it trustworthy, and thinking through how you can improve it and who can break it, is still the human part. It's most of the job.

If the same little task keeps showing up on your to-do list every week, that's your repeat offender. The email you copy and paste. The spreadsheet row you retype. The reminder you send by hand every time.

No code tools can take those off your plate, but no code doesn't mean no thinking. Start with one task. Write the workflow in one sentence. Leave a human check in the chain. Then let it run.
