Thank you to director Juan C. Davila Santiago and producer Camila M. Rodriguez Estrada for bringing 19th & 7th on to do the color grading for their documentary, "Zenón and the Rebel Boats."

The film has its world premiere at BlackStar Film Festival this Friday, August 7th at 5:30 pm. It tells the story of Carlos "Taso" Zenón, a Puerto Rican fisherman who was displaced from his home by the U.S. Navy to build a military base and went on to pledge his life to fighting the military occupation of Vieques.

19th & 7th is proud to have provided the Color Grading and Sound Mixing for "Lost Opportunities", set to premiere July 3rd.

The short subject documentary tells the inspiring story of filmmaker and quadriplegic father Jason DaSilva, who is separated from his young son. DaSilva embarks on a deeply personal examination of disability, parenthood, and justice.

The documentary will be screened for one week at the Laemmle Monica Film Center in Burbank, and is currently under Academy Award consideration.

Premiering on PBS, 6/29 at 10pm ET, the documentary examines how Black Americans fought for the tenets of democracy for themselves and their communities.
