The brutal reality of social media marketing? Nobody knows (or cares) if a visual took you five minutes or five hours to create.

As our Marketing & Design Director, Ashley Gioumbakis, puts it: You have about half a second to capture someone's attention before they keep scrolling.

If your design doesn't immediately stop the thumb, the message never gets read. Prioritize clarity and bold visuals over over-complicated details.

If you have a business, you have a Google Business Profile, and keeping it up to date can make a big difference in how customers find and perceive you online. It may even be one of the first ways a potential customer is introduced to your brand.

Here are 5 things your Google My Business Profile should have.

1. Recent Business Photos: Keep your profile active by regularly uploading new photos of your team, work, or space.

2. Complete the "Services" Section: Outline what you do so potential customers know exactly how you can help them.

3. Encourage Reviews: Ask happy customers to share their experience.

4. Update Business Information: Keep your contact info, hours, and holiday hours current.

5. Publish Weekly Posts & Updates: Share quick tips, promotional graphics, and company updates to stay relevant.

This summer, Ashley Ocklerbloom has learned that "marketing intern" can mean just about anything.

One day she's optimizing YouTube descriptions for SEO. The next she's updating WordPress, building internal linking strategies, tackling a competitive analysis for a new client, or capturing local content for social media.

And somewhere in between? She packed up our entire office, helped move us into our new space, and somehow managed to keep everything organized along the way. (Seriously... we couldn't have done it without her.)

Ashley has jumped into every project with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a great sense of humor. We're grateful she chose to spend her summer with us and can't wait to see where her marketing career takes her.

Happy , Ashley! 🎉

We all know social calendars are important guides, but in 2026, a great aesthetic isn't enough to drive real outcomes.

To ensure your content actually reaches your target audience, here are two things you must integrate into your strategy.

Google’s E-E-A-T is the foundation for authority, but when you add an N and a T (N.E.E.A.T.T.), you get the full picture of digital credibility for your brand.

Here’s the breakdown that helps your website content stand out:

-> Notability – Become a recognized entity within your industry.
-> Experience – Prove you know your topic the best.
-> Expertise – Show deep knowledge of the topic.
-> Authority – Establish your brand as the go-to source.
-> Trustworthiness – Demonstrate accuracy and honesty.
-> Transparency – Be clear about who wrote the content.

Search engines want to serve the highest quality results from the most reputable sources. If you are not optimizing your content for the N and the T, you may not get the results you're looking for.
