If see a fundraiser on my page please disregard, since I have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer with complications, I am looking for a way to raise money for Prostate Cancer Awareness. Because of my non-awareness of this I never new what to ask for during a physical yearly. Missed a couple here and there but my cancer went undetected for a very long time and got worse as time went by. As time went on a mass on the back side of my prostrate was allowed to grow to just under the size of a tennis ball with no discomfort, Until, I couldn’t relieve my self both ways. Went to the emergency room twice and was given laxatives to help but to no avail. Finally after going back for a third time I was given a doctor with some common sense, he sent me for my 1st cat scan and low and behold they found the root cause. A mass of this size in a restricted area only made for the prostrate closed off both avenues of relieving myself.

Over the last 3 months my family and I have been meeting with doctors at Brigham and women’s and Dana Farber. Finally I have been assigned 1 surgical urologist, a hormone oncologist and a radiation oncologist. My team is set in place and treatment has started. Friday Prior to yesterday I received my 1st two hormone shots with many more to come. Radiology is in the planning stage and will be meeting with the Radiologist next Tuesday. Stay tuned.
