On Thursday, May 12th we held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the official Grand Opening for Vibes and Vines Jazz Lounge. Following the Ribbon Cutting we held our May Connect 4 Happy Hour networking mixer at the lounge.

Attendees had the chance to mix and mingle with Chamber partners while enjoying a variety of appetizers, drinks, live music and networking.

Attention Rising 9th Graders! Applications are now available for our 2022 Junior Leadership Academy!

The Junior Leadership Academy (JLA) is a program designed to promote leadership development by helping teens identify their own characteristics, personality traits, and strengths to best understand how they can be successful in any area of their choosing.

The curriculum will acquaint participants with community needs, opportunities, challenges and resources. It will give them the tools to develop leadership, communication and team building skills and provide them with the channels to interact with students from other schools, community leaders and decision makers.

JLA is open to rising 9th graders who reside in North Augusta. Public, private and home school students may apply.

Williams started the Carol H. Williams Advertising company in 1986. Over the last few decades she has created campaigns for Fortune 500 Companies including the Walt Disney Company, Allstate Insurance, Procter and Gamble. She is responsible for the My Black is Beautiful Campaign!

Williams in an influential voice for advertising especially when it comes to producing ads that speak to the influential and sophisticated African-American and Urban Markets.

Like us, Williams began her agency in her home. She now has offices in Oakland, California, Chicago and New York.
