📊 NEW RESULTS FROM THE 2026 SUMMIT POLL

Who do Summit County residents trust most to act in the best interest of the public?

According to the 2026 Summit Poll, non-profit organizations received the highest levels of trust and confidence among residents, followed by police officers, churches and religious leaders, and public school leaders. National elected officials received the lowest trust ratings overall.

The survey also found notable differences in trust levels based on age, homeownership status, voter registration, financial circumstances, and political affiliation.

The annual Summit Poll surveyed 800 Summit County residents and examines quality of life, community issues, and public attitudes toward institutions and organizations throughout the county.

At CMOR, we're proud to provide reliable, meaningful data that helps organizations better understand the communities they serve.
