Quick curiosity post for my Ohio friends — what’s your rough monthly cost for home/auto insurance? Ballpark is fine if you’re comfortable sharing.

I’ve been helping review a few policies lately and the pricing gaps surprised me. It has me curious what the normal range looks like around here. If you’d rather not post it publicly, feel free to message me.

DO you know what my favorite part of my job is???? Saving people so much money and helping them achieve some financial freedom.

Just a little inspiration post for some of you that may be in a similar position as I was- just feeling uninspired and lacking personal growth.

I started my journey with Allstate in February of this year- with absolutely NO experience in insurance, no confidence in my ability to thrive, and I was extremely hesitant to take such a huge leap of faith into what seemed to be a dark abyss. At the time, I was a stay at home mom of almost 2 years, didn’t have my own bank account, or even my own car to get to work. My life melted into just being a mom to my beautiful daughter and every second of it was such a huge blessing. But with that also comes a weird funk of being only “mom”, always being in the same house, and having no individuality- a sacrifice that I would make again in a heartbeat and I don’t regret doing it. But sometimes it can feel like you’re stuck in a loop and lacking purpose outside of being a parent. If your a stay at home parent, you’ll understand the bittersweet feeling I’m talking about.

As August came to an end- I had to give myself a little pat on the back. With a lot of hard work, help from my coworkers, and support from my family- I beat my monthly goal by 96%!!! The best month BY FAR since I’ve started at Allstate. Most importantly I was able to help so many people I know save money and make sure the things they work hard for are protected the way they should be. There is no better feeling than saving somebody hundreds of dollars, helping relieve some financial stress, and teaching people what they’re actually paying for when it comes to insurance!!

Moral of the story: take the leap, invest in yourself, work hard, and always keep growing. Surround yourself with supportive, helpful, and positive people- and with time things will pay off. And don’t forget to celebrate your growth and pat yourself on the back for your success!! As well as paying it forward- support your friends’ journey, share their business posts, refer your friends to them. Your support could quite literally change someone’s life! ❤️

I’ve had so many people message me saying their insurance rates recently went up at their renewal. Did you know that this year most major insurance companies had HUGE rate increases? If you haven’t seen it yet, you more than likely will at your renewal.
State Farm - lost 13 billion last year and increased rates 13%
Liberty Mutual- 10% rate increase
Grange - 12% rate increase
Erie - 11% rate increase
Nationwide - 15% rate increase
American Family - 20% rate increase

I know a lot of the big insurance companies have been taking steep rate increases this year. We’ve been super lucky over at Allstate and we haven’t had any increases this year. We also aren’t scheduled to take any the rest of this year!

Just wanted to make another quick post for anyone struggling with price increases on their home/auto insurance. A lot of the big name companies took significant increases last month that will be taking effect on future renewals. Companies I know took an increase are: StateFarm, Progressive, Farmers, Liberty Mutual, and Nationwide!

I’m working with our local Allstate company on Cleveland Avenue, and we’re not scheduled to take any rate increases this year! I’ve been able to save several of my friends/family $50+ a month on their auto insurance.
