Acknowledgement:
As I celebrate 31 years on my own this month, I wish to express a few sentiments of gratitude to my very first clients: Richard Montanari Sr. and Patricia Montanari.
Two wonderful people who trusted me enough to hire me to design and help manage the construction of this new home. Rich owned a gym that I joined at 14 years old. Mentored me and inspired me to compete in bodybuilding and become my own boss one day.
At 23 years old…. I opened my office with barely enough savings for 1 year worth of rent, car lease payment, a new computer, printer and some drafting supplies I’d collected over a few years. Every penny I’d saved since I could stock shelves at the local convenience store where I met another mentor, although, at that time I’m not sure he knew it. Michael Dusa. I was just 12.
Additional, eternal appreciation to my Grandfather, family, friends, Michele, and the late Nicola Iannone, my high school drafting teacher.
1993, I made a promise to myself that if I couldn’t sustain my life on my own terms, I would close up shop and seek employment elsewhere…
Today, with humility…and grateful heart.... I have been able to live my life as I’d envisioned and believed I could.
I am fairly certain I didn’t know the meaning of entrepreneurship. Hell, I am certain the word was not even in my vocabulary.. what I did know, is what I’ve wanted to do since I was 12. To design and build homes.
I am fortunate to say that to this day, all 31 years... 90% of all of my business comes via referrals. many, right here from FB.
I will continue to put forth my best effort and will always strive to deliver quality, competent and timely services to those who entrust me to do so.
With honor and integrity, I will remain dedicated to learn, improve, refine my skills, and strive to become a better human being.
A sincere heart felt thank you to all of my supporters, clients… past… present .. and God willing, my future.
I am truly a blessed man. I love what I do….
Respectfully
