I love what I do, I love designing and creating! But owning a business definitely comes with its downfalls! I have been scorned a few times and it’s unfortunate that a few bad apples ruin it for the bunch, but from here on out, even on small projects I am going to have to have agreements signed and deposits paid up front prior to work being done. I’ve done jobs, had work stolen, because I thought I knew people through social media, turns out, they think you work for free! I am supporting my family, and trying to take is NOT ok! My time is money, so when I put the work in for YOUR business, and you take the work and refuse to pay, it isn’t okay. Karma always comes around. But from now on, please understand that when I send an estimate requiring a signature and deposit upon acceptance it’s because other people have taken it upon themselves to steal. Once, shame on them, twice, thrice and more.. shame on me.
