I'm Heather :), and I've been lucky enough to work for myself as a photographer since 2002. Thi

s is a dream, because photography has been a force in my life since I was little. I was that nerdy kid with the Kodak 110 AND the Polaroid camera. I was the tiny introvert developing black and white prints in my brother's basement darkroom. I was the annoying person slowing down the hikes in Utah because I had to stop to capture the slot canyon details to take home with me. After a dozen years as a police officer in Indiana and Florida, I decided to chase my passion....I opened and ran a busy portrait studio for over a decade, specializing in babies, families, Police K9s and weddings. Through it all, I've always made images for myself. I've made a big effort to honor my creative side and capture beauty when I see it. I look forward to sharing with you and helping you choose just the right print or product to bring something lovely into your life. I live in North Port, FL on a few beautiful, wooded acres with my awesome husband and amazing teens. We currently have two dogs, two cats, six chickens, and several aquariums.
