I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If you’re running a service based business reviews are 🔥 for organic visibility. It has been shown that testimonials on sales pages increase conversions up to 34%, so it’s clear how influential they are. On the visibility end, the more 5 star reviews you have, the higher you will be shown when people search for your keywords. Go on and do the test. Google your city and keywords and notice which listings show. It is also influenced by distance to you, but the overall average of number vs. total stars is the main factor. I know reviews are tricky to get because people say they will and then they don’t and you are already overwhelmed with SO many things to do as a solopreneur, but you have to HUSTLE and go get them. The moment you get your Google My Business listing approved, you HAVE to start filling that baby up with 5 ⭐️ reviews as much as possible. How? Here’s a few tricks to help you get reviews more easily 👇🏼 1️⃣Download the Google My Business app and click on profile and then the share button that’s at the top of the page. That will give you a link that goes straight to your GMB listing to send out to your clients. Text it to them a few days after their appointment. 2️⃣If you use Acuity, there’s a way to automate this process when you’re using the premium features. I will do a Reel on how to do this later on, but you can find the option in Email Settings. 3️⃣ If you have already been in business a while and only have a few reviews, get crackin’ and call/text your past clients and ask them how they love their brows, and IF they say they’re very happy proceed to specifically asking for a 5 ⭐️ review. Be specific and say 5 stars ⭐️. Some people don’t understand how reviews work and will leave a 4 star even if they were completely over the moon with your service. 4️⃣Now, GMB is not the only place where you can collect reviews, but it is the best. If you want to rotate or don’t have GMB, you can also use Yelp. Do you have any tips for getting reviews?
