It’s been another great year over here at Daniel DeHart Design! We celebrated 5 years in full time business this year and it’s still amazing to be able to serve my clients from my own home.

***New Logo Design***

It was a real honor designing the new logo for Oak Leaf Dermatology. Lesli Tristan, the founder, came to me with a clear vision and a meaningful story behind the name.

As a Marine, the oak leaf carries a deep significance for her, and it was incredible to work with someone who has served our country and is now building something of her own.

Lesli knew exactly what she didn’t want, nothing that looked like it came from a template or felt too generic. She wanted a brand that felt thoughtful and refined, something that reflected her professionalism and the personal care she gives her patients.

The final design is clean, confident, and rooted in her story. Projects like this are why I love what I do.

***New Logo Project***

Some projects start with a spark. This one started with a little healthy skepticism.

Dr. Chris and Matt from Fort Worth Optometry Co came to me after a rough experience with another designer who didn’t quite see the vision (optometry puns are a requirement here). They were hesitant, cautious, and understandably protective of their new brand.

When that happens, I know it’s my job not just to design a logo, but to show up as a real human, to show up as Dan. I crack a few jokes, ask good questions, show my work, and just try to be warm, honest, and present. Because sometimes the thing that wins the project isn’t the pitch deck, it’s the personality.

We vibed after the first Zoom call and the trust started to build. What came out of it is a brand that feels strong, clean, timeless, and totally them. I even created a custom eye mark illustration they can use as part of their visual identity.

I’m really proud of how this one turned out and even prouder to have earned the trust of two great guys who are bringing something fresh to the Fort Worth scene. Keep an eye out for them. (Ok that one was too easy.)

So pumped to finally show off my latest project for Dynamic Decisions! 💻✨

I had a blast working with the client to create their whole vibe – from the logo to the colors and the entire brand feel. We took the idea and ran with it, designing something that’s bold, fresh, and totally Dynamic! 😉

For those that are wanting to get in touch with me via my cellular phone: you can't. For whatever reason it just won't turn on. It's been plugged into a working charger overnight and the little guy just won't go.

If you're an iPhone user, you can still text me as I get that on my MacBook but if you're one of those "cough cough cheeseball cough cough" Android users, well, you and I aren't talking today it seems.
