The date for the highly anticipated opening of Western New York’s first Costco, in Amherst, has finally been revealed.
Costco Wholesale Corp.’s grand opening for the 4230 Ridge Lea Road warehouse store will be Oct. 28 - in plenty of time for the busy holiday shopping season.
And if you’re a Costco member, you can get gas there now.
The announcement of the date is a long time coming. It’s a project that was already pushed back from opening in spring to this fall.
The Costco gas station at the site opened at 6 a.m. Friday, but Costco membership is required to purchase gas at Costco locations.
