Most leaders aren’t burnt out. They’re self-silenced.
There’s a difference.
Burnout is exhaustion.
Self-silencing is suppression.
It’s what happens when:
– You swallow the opinion.
– You soften the truth.
– You adjust your message to stay safe.
– You position yourself strategically instead of honestly.
And your nervous system knows the difference.
You can feel it.
The tightness.
The second-guessing.
The internal erosion.
Over time, this becomes “leadership fatigue.”
Not because you’re incapable.
But because you’re misaligned.
The strongest leaders I work with don’t need better content.
They need permission to stop muting themselves.
Authenticity isn’t a branding tactic.
It’s regulation.
