Paper communications are under threat. New SEC and DOL proposals could make digital delivery the default for the financial and health documents you rely on, taking away your right to choose paper. Here's how you can make your voice heard before the September 21 deadline:
ACTION ITEMS for Concerned Citizens
1. Submit a comment to the SEC. The SEC proposal would affect how Americans receive important financial documents.
Tell the SEC that Americans deserve a choice, not a default:

2. Submit a comment to the Department of Labor. The DOL proposal would affect important group health plan communications, including benefits information, eligibility notices, claims and appeals.

3. You may also contact your Senators and Representatives. The Invest Act Bill is active in the Senate Finance Committee. Reach out to your senators and tell them to oppose Section 205 of the Invest Act.
4. NAPM has "6" shareable one-page documents covering consumer paper choice Topics - Younger Americans, investor preferences, the digital divide, seniors and the financial risks associated with digital-only communications. Review these to better understand these issues and share/respond accordingly
