June is LGBTQIA2S+ Pride Month to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a series of events that started on June 28, 1969 that brought changes in the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. It helps raise awareness to the challenges, past and present, faced by members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and 95 is here to fully support this important month of acknowledgment and awareness! ♥️💜💙💛💚
Did you know there is more than just one Pride flag? The first known Pride flag was the nine-colored flag designed by Gibert Baker in 1978. Since then, the rainbow flag has been modified and other flags to represent the different identities within the LGBTQIA2S+ community was created.
