On October 31, 2025, all Samson Studios accounts will be deleted, our website will go offline, and our emails will no longer be active.
When we started our business, we were excited, ambitious, and passionate but had no real direction or moral foundation. We began as Starseed Family Productions, operating under a DBA in our own names, owned 50/50 between Tannon and me. It felt like our first “marriage” of sorts.
In July 2022, we stepped up our efforts and created the LLC Starseed Productions, a photo and video production company. In November 2022, a near-death experience in St. Louis left us shaken and surrendered to Christ. It was the very beginning of our journey, and it also stirred conviction about our business name. Within a few months, we renamed ourselves Samson Studios in an effort to hand the business over to Christ.
Over time, we tried to legitimize Samson Studios and correct our LLC paperwork. All attempts failed. What we thought was a mission to take down “Hollywood” was really just ego. In reflection, we realized we must be like Samson. The only way to stop “Starseed” was to tear it down ourselves.
We understand that many may not understand this.
We understand that some will assume something deeper is going on behind the scenes.
The past year has been a struggle to reconcile these truths. We have tried to make it work, but to no avail. It is time for a new chapter, even if that means dismantling everything we have built.
We know we are still not righteous, whole, or complete. That only happens when Christ returns. But we also know Starseed Productions was not built on a foundation in Christ and it must be destroyed.
We are incredibly blessed by the experiences we have had and the people we have met along the way. God’s goodness and sovereignty have been evident despite our human flaws, and we are deeply grateful for all that has happened on this journey.
All the people who came together to make Samson Studios possible will never be forgotten. The friends, collaborators, and supporters who helped us build our portfolio and believed in us. Your contributions mattered. Our belief has shifted from a belief in ourselves to a belief in God. As we move forward, we plan to bring many of you along on this next chapter.
