Job Title: Maintenance Specialist Technician
Summary: The Maintenance Specialist Technician provides diagnoses and technical ability to ensure machines/tools are maintained and running smoothly and machine downtime is diminished.
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Handles major rebuild of production equipment
Diagnoses issues and repairs machines and equipment for production and facility
Maintains specialized production equipment including mixers, spinners, x-ray machines, etc.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance of equipment
Assesses mechanical and operational issues with production equipment in a timely manner
Completes and updates logs, work orders, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of maintenance experience
Knowledge of and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems
Ability to work from drawings and schematics (electrical and pneumatic), is helpful
Ability to read and understand machine manuals and SOPs
Ability to work with basic shop tools and is mechanically inclined to repair and replace components!!
