✨MY WHY✨⁣

Why do I do what I do?⁣
⁣
Because I've got two little ones 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦⁣
⁣
Because I want them to know the value of hard work 😓 ⁣
⁣
Because I want them to be successful in their own ways and learn they can be at a young age.⁣
⁣
BECAUSE BEING A STAY AT HOME MOM WASN'T ENOUGH FOR ME… 😮 ⁣
⁣
There I said it and guess what, there's no shame in that.⁣
⁣
But honestly, it wasn't enough for my family.⁣
⁣
3 years now I've been hustlin' from home, homeschooling my boys, and taking care of our homestead. It's not always been easy, but NOTHING in life worth it EVER will be.⁣
⁣
I decided that, relying on a single source of income was no longer a smart move for me.⁣
⁣
So, after a few road bumps, I've made it all the way to Courtney Bardo Design Studio, where I get to help custom create the most important part of your Brand, YOUR BRAND! 🎉 ⁣
⁣
I finally can say I have found something I'm truly passionate about. ⁣
⁣
Every day is something new which is so much more than i can say for a monotonous 9-5.⁣
⁣
And here’s the thing: I want to make my own choices, pursue my own dreams and find⁣
security in my own way.⁣
⁣
I'm proud I was able to follow my heart.⁣

🙋🏼‍♀️ Hey friends! It’s been a little while since I last introduced myself and I'm feeling like a chat.⁣
⁣
I’m Courtney, a Mom to two rambunctious little boys. ⁣
⁣
🐎 I am proud to call Ocala, Florida home. The horse capital of the world. I absolutely love taking the long way and driving past all the beautiful farms around here.⁣
⁣
At the moment, you will find me spending my free time browsing the comic book store, tending my garden, hanging with my chickens, or in my yak on Rainbow River.⁣
⁣
🍱 My current favorite dinner date is Sh**un Japanese restaurant in Williston, FL. They have the best Sushi and I am in love with their Tempura Shrimp (their tempura sauce takes it to the next level!)⁣
⁣
🎶 H.E.R is currently on high rotation on my speakers. (I can't stand wearing earbuds, they hurt my ears.)⁣
⁣
🧘🏼‍♀️ My fave form of relaxation is yoga and rainy days in bed reading.⁣
⁣
🤯 My biggest frustration is like why does everything have to be everywhere all the time. Like, didn't I just clean this whole house. All I did was take a shower and now it looks exactly like it did 6 hours ago before I pulled a muscle in my back trying to reach the nasty wrapper under your bed.⁣

This past weekend, we were blessed enough to take a family vacation to Universal Studios!🌎 ⁣

My parents surprised us with this getaway so huge shoutout to my mom and dad for making this possible! 💜

Here's a two part prompt to work on this week. This has really helped me find balance as a busy mom and business owner. ⁣⁣⁣⁠⁠

1️⃣ Imagine you are now limited to only five activities per day (other than sleeping, eating, or bathing). For the next month, those are the only activities you will be allowed to perform. What can you give up? What do you feel you couldn’t or wouldn’t give up for any reason? Circle the five activities you’ll keep. Write about what your life will be like.⁣⁣⁣⁠⁠

2️⃣ Now, narrow your life down even further. You’ve been told that you have to give up one of these precious five activities. Which one will you slash? How will you give it up and why? Repeat this exercise until you have only one activity left. You have now prioritized your top five activities.⁣⁣⁣⁠⁠
