Professional. Genuine. Passionate. Super-fantistical.

Those are the words so many of us will forever associate with Ben Baugh.

Ben had a deep love for journalism, storytelling, and the North Central Florida community he served so faithfully over the years. Whether he was covering a city meeting, highlighting a local event, or simply talking with someone in the newsroom, Ben brought heart, curiosity, and kindness everywhere he went.

To us at North Central Florida Media, Ben was more than a reporter. He was a teammate, a friend, and a voice that became part of the fabric of our organization.

His passion was unmistakable. His presence was comforting. And his “super-fantistical” spirit was uniquely Ben.

We are heartbroken by his passing and are keeping his family, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, Ben, for the stories you told and the impact you made on all of us.

Today is a big one.

We're celebrating Howard Tuuri as he officially retires- and while it's hard to imagine this place without him, what he's built at North Central Florida Media will last far beyond today.

Last week's celebration was full of stories, laughter, and a whole lot of appreciation. All in the name of saying "thank you" for being more than a leader.
