3 year old Friesian X Quarter Horse
Gelding currently 15.2 1/2 (and growing).
“Blue” (Who wants to keep changing colors - he may be blue, he may be grey, he may be something else all
together. Jury is still out, color experts feel free to chime in, he’s changed colors three times since we’ve known him. Either way, Blue is what we’re gonna call him).
Started under saddle with 30 rides mostly on the trail. Walk/Trot/Canter, does the basics. Used to hacking out from the farm or hauling to location. Alone or with others. Not polished in the arena, still working on building strength and consistency but well started for someone with young horse experience to continue on with. Has gone in both western and English tack, is very good out on the trails but could go about anyway you’d like! Good across all terrain, happily crosses bridges and is essentially a boat in the water. Fox hunters may particularly enjoy him - but something about that canter makes me think with further schooling he could also be fun dancing in the sandbox! 🕺
