We were looking for a new cam to add to our production kits and had been waiting for an announcement of a new cam this year that made sense for our crew. The day the camera launched, we received it within less than 24 hours which was nuts. Finally got a chance to get it built out and took it out to capture some test footage of our crew kiddo's first time skateboarding.

At the end of the day the camera doesn't define your work but allows your process to be efficient if it fits into workflow and the Komodo-x definitely has those qualities to it. Used the Komodo a handful of times and the upgrades to the KX is hands down some great changes. Kudos RED Digital Cinema
