Cally J Art

Cally J is a multi medium artist and leader in the positivity movement. She strive to reach the hearts of others and make a positive impact in the community through art. She was raised by an artist, and developed a love for art at a very early age. One of her greatest passions is experimenting with different mediums and techniques to push the boundaries of her creative abilities to make others feel something deep inside themselves. She was featured in several state art shows as a teen for silversmithing and metal work. Now she has made her mark as a painter using acrylics, spray paint and fire painting to create one a kind pieces that speak to the human spirit. She shares her love of art with the community by volunteering her time to arts development and arts awareness in Ogden. Cally was also the winner of Ogden’s 2018 Beats & Beets competition hosted by Ogden Downtown Alliance to bring awareness to the local arts and Ogden's iconic Farmer's Market. Cally shares her passion for art by teaching paint classes at The Local Artisan Collective. One of her greatest ambitions is to form a non profit organization that brings art therapy to at risk youth. "Art has been an important part of my life and the development of who I am today. I believe art has the ability to heal and bring people together. That is what makes it so beautiful. Art crosses the barriers of language, race, gender and so much more. I believe art is the bricks of the path that will eventually bring the world together."
