It was a very warm Oklahoma morning today, but that didn't stop important conversations from taking place. OPMCA was pleased to participate once again with a NACS (National Association of Convenience Stores) In Store event at Love's Travel Stops with Congressman Tom Cole.

OPMCA Executive Director Candace McGinnis was proud to represent our membership alongside NACS, and the Love's Travel Stops team. We are grateful to Love's for opening their doors and to Congressman Cole for taking the time to learn more about our industry and the challenges and opportunities facing convenience retailers throughout our state.

The visit offered Congressman Cole an inside look at the daily operations of a busy convenience store and travel stop. By touring the facility, meeting with store leadership, observing operations, and interacting with team members, he gained valuable insight into the essential services convenience stores provide to travelers, local communities, and businesses across Oklahoma.

These firsthand experiences help ensure the voice of Oklahoma's convenience store and petroleum marketing industry continues to be heard.

OPMCA was proud to join the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) for a NACS In Store event at Domino C-Stores with Congresswoman Stephanie Bice.

The visit gave Representative Bice a firsthand look at the day-to-day operations of a convenience store, including touring the facility, shadowing store management, serving customers behind the counter, and learning more about the many ways convenience stores serve their communities every day.

The event also provided an opportunity to discuss key issues impacting Oklahoma’s convenience store and petroleum marketing industry, including fuel regulations, payment processing costs, workforce challenges, and the vital role convenience stores play in our state’s economy.

OPMCA was honored to have Executive Director Candace McGinnis in attendance representing our members alongside NACS and the Domino C-Stores team. We appreciate Domino C-Stores for hosting this meaningful event and thank Representative Bice for taking the time to engage with our industry and hear directly from those who keep Oklahoma moving.

OPMCA's Annual Convention is officially a wrap! 🎉

Nearly 100 attendees joined us June 1-2 for a golf tournament at Belmar Golf Course, our Chairman's Evening, and a Business Meeting Breakfast.

A heartfelt thank you to outgoing President Alex Williams for two incredible terms of leadership — and a big welcome to our incoming President Brindan Shepherd! We can't wait to see what's ahead. 🤝
