A moment for the details
My magpie heart will always be fascinated with the little fluffs and baubles that go into making the sweeping gestures of a brand
Then my wedding photographer background enters the group chat and I need a whole Details Moment 😂
Cut to me rifling through Jenny Elton | Live Painter ‘s paint kit finding the *perfect* paint tubes and dodging fat bumble bees in the flowers (what an awkward time that would’ve been to find out if I’m allergic to bees)
But these detail shots! Ah! Tooooootally worth it!!
Because these little gems are hard AF workers in your visual identity portfolio!
They allow you to:
•Show examples of your work
•Give a glimpse into how you do what you do
•Allow people to get a sense of what it’s like to work with you (and want to hire you 😉)
•Add visual interest to your website
•Are great backgrounds to text overlay for when you know you need to post something on social media but don’t want to mess with getting ‘camera ready’
And, most importantly…adds depth to your story.
Why be generic & boring when you cooould have bespoke imagery
Let’s get specific. Let’s share what sets you apart. Let’s gain trust with your audience because you’re a real person and are really amazing at what you do!!!
Plus I also just really want to r***e through your cool stuff 💁🏻♀️
