My story starts right here in OKC 🏙️
I grew up in this community. Graduated from Northwest Classen High School. Watched my father become one of the first Black businessmen in the area to secure an SBA loan. He taught me that hard work, determination, and leading by example aren’t just values. They’re a way of life.
For over 30 years, I’ve served as an attending physician and educator at OU Health, caring for patients, training the next generation of doctors, and witnessing firsthand the healthcare disparities facing Oklahoma families every single day. That’s why I’m running.
I go home to my wife Doris and our four children. I serve at Voice of Hope Church. I show up for my brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. My commitment to this community isn’t something I put on for a campaign. It’s woven into my faith, my family, and every relationship I’ve built throughout OKC.
I’m devoted to serve. And I’m ready to lead. 🩺
