Your sales suck because you donโt know how to position your brand.
If people have a problem and you can solve it, theyโll buy. Simple, right?
Yet, when I ask clients โ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐บ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐ฒ?โ, I usually getโฆ silence.
And thatโs normal. Only a handful of clients semi-answer this question correctly.
Seems simple, but itโs not.
Because what I really want to know is the emotion behind the problem.
Is it fear?
Feeling less than?
Shame?

Now, I know youโre not a therapist (probably), but understanding your clientsโ pain points makes your brand betterโฆ and sales.

1. List every problem your ideal market struggles withโfrom the mundane to the existential.
2. Identify what you do that truly solves these issues. (Hint: you might be solving problems you didnโt even realize).
3. Connect the dots. Whatโs the emotional weight of their problem? How would solving it make them feel? How would not solving it affect them?
Yes, itโs a lot of work. But once you nail this, it solves more than just marketingโit transforms your sales.
And FYI, this is all part of brand strategy. So, before anything else, get specific about your ideal market.
