Even after four years in pattern design, it is my first time watching the delightful by my fellow Swedish pattern designer, Bärbel Dressler .

Since I have vases full of lilacs and lily of the valley, I think I'll make an Arts and Crafts design, but I'll definitely rework the paper mapping as a half drop, since that is my preferred method!

I have wanted to do a vintage safari style pattern for a while, and this week's new challenge of Jungle Nursery wallpaper gave me a reason to finally do it. I entered the more neutral, natural one, but maybe I should have done the colorful funky one instead. Oh well, they're both up in my shop, whether you want realism, or technicolor!!

My 10 year old son wants me to know that these are not Jungle animals but Savannah animals, so I apologize in advance to anyone that is a stickler for the rules. 😆

Happy Easter!!
Here is my rendition of my annual Good Friday art, which I have made for over 40 years. These are very personal to me, so I share them vulnerable and humbly.

Reference verses for my inspiration:

I completely forgot to share my latest beachy-boho design... there is a slightly different and more saturated version of the sea stars by themselves, which is more true to their actual colors in nature, but I thought these washed out pastel colors worked better for the coastal decor vibe!
