I have this poem hanging in my daughter's room,
A beacon of light in the twilight's gloom,
To show her—and remind myself, too—
That the 'mustn'ts' and 'shouldn'ts' are easy to view.
But the challenge lies in looking past the noise,
In summoning the courage, in making the choice.
For when you reach that place, so pure and free,
You'll find the truth: anything can be.
