Prepress

Elman Print, an Omaha based printing company is looking to expand our workforce to accommodate our continued growth. We are searching for a motivated, hard-working employee, who is a self-starter to join our team-oriented operation. This person will have the opportunity to join an industry leader that has been in business for over 40 years.

The ideal candidate will possess dedication to their work, a positive attitude every day, ability to work well with a team, and on their own. Attention to detail, being organized, and courteous to others will be instrumental in your success.

Duties and Responsibilities
• The position is for a full-time, day shift prepress employee working at the office.
• Work independently on customer files to prepare for print production so clients
work is both on time and accurate.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of color, typography, and layout.
• Work with customers to achieve their desired print vision.
o Customer focused with friendly and welcoming disposition.
• Manage design details, project deadlines, and follow jobs through to completion.
• Must be organized and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Keeping a safe and clean workspace is a must.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Mac computers.
o Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Preferred experience in prepress environment but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
