Following our tradition of taking anniversary pics in front of found signs, Happy 8th Anniversary babe! (a month late 🤷🏻‍♀️) Great ride on a gorgeous day today!
We're still figuring things out, working together full time, traveling all over, riding dirt bikes, making cool stuff, choosing time alone with each other over time out with friends 😬😅 Here's to a million more years of growing old together, eating junk food and candy like children, complaining that everything hurts and doing nothing about it and starting more projects than we can get done in a lifetime 🥰

An Italian inspired realistic countryside flower field complete with a beautiful woman looking wistfully off into the distance and a historic windmill in the foreground is about THE LAST THING ON EARTH I have any business painting, but it hasn't killed me yet! (My back however, dead)

👀 Sneaky peek of a mural we worked on this week! 👀
Had to get a lil creative for this one and dipped into the world of spray paint AND, I didn't die 😅 I have so much respect for people with can control and understanding of the amazing results you can get with aerosol but you won't catch me setting my brushes down anytime soon 😆 thanks to and for the right supplies, looking forward to a lot more practice!
This cutie farm truck was all brush baby, next is a logo on the truck, some final details on the goldenrod and then inside for a couple more murals 🙌🏽 .daddy knocked outta the park on that wood grain truck bed too!
It's been a slow spring/summer y'all, I feel like I went on more dirt bike trips than I did jobs 🫣 feels good to be back at it to pay for life, and more riding adventures! 😅

Dear Colorado, thanks for everything, even the bruised ribs and twisted up knee 😍 it was all worth it!
This is our 3rd year riding the and mountain passes 🤠 the weather was perfect, the company was ready to ride, the views were breath taking (so was the altitude!) but getting to do all of it with .daddy , my bestest for the restest, so close to our 8 year anniversary was the cherry on top!
We cooked amazing dinners at camp, enjoyed hot showers at (though we were super bummed about the hot tub being gone and no restaurant AGAIN 😥) it was still our favorite place to stay away from home, KOA'S are always AOK in our book! 🙌🏽
Sadly, we didn't get to finish Black Bear Pass again, due to getting rained out the last day but dang, what an amazing trip! Not mad about coming home a day early, we got our butts kicked... Can't wait to go again next year!
Special mention goes to my beloved XTrainer 300 2 stroke, that girl will take me ANYWHERE! I honestly feel like I never would have been able to cover the kind of terrain we've ridden without that bike to get me there 🤩 love you bb Beta!
It seems silly to thank a VAN COMPANY but I haven't traveled in our and not thought to myself, "I really REALLY love this van" , thanks for always gettin us there safe and sound !

So we were like, real diligent about sharing pictures of our home renovation projects and then got busy adopting another cat, going on a dirty bike trip to Kentucky followed by one to the Black Hills, then working on the outside of the house and having a tree taken out so it doesn't take out the neighbors house (don't worry, it was mostly dead, rip) and just forgot about sharing the final product. So here it is without any of the decorations in but you get the idea. Basically, it's rad. Our friends are amazing, Ed is amazing and I'm just over here trying to live up to the people I'm surrounded with 🙏🏼🥰
A million thank yous to .interior.finishings who designed, fabricated and installed our custom cabinets, they're a dream duo and we NEVER would have been able to have our dream kitchen without em 😍😍
Cats are the best, dirt biking makes me smile and laugh and think about how amazing nature is more than anything else in life and I'm just really grateful 🙏🏼

Cunningham's Pub & Grill

Last year we got a call that the old Stirnella restaurant was going to be renovated into a new family restaurant. They had some great plans for new signage outside, some cool signage inside and the opportunity for Edward to make something really unique!
They wanted a play on their logo with the clover and braided knot work that was made out of steel. Since patina’d steel ends up being too close to the color of the brick wall that its being mounted on, Ed found some great products from that brought in some different shades of green to pop on the red brick! In addition, he installed a 1” lip around the back that allowed for LED lighting to be mounted behind it! The restaurant can change the lighting up for different occasions or even set it to change with the music, fancy pants!
Be sure to support local businesses, ESPECIALLY those being disrupted by local construction like those along Farnam and Saddlecreek ( needs support too! )

Moxy Hotel - Old Market Omaha 2023

An old friend https://www.instagram.com/awfulcreative?igsh=YXFoZWs5ZWRhZGw= Graham Burkum reached out a couple years go while he was in the process of designing a large scale mural for the new Moxy Hotel in downtown Omaha. Graham has always been one of my favorite local graphic designers and I’ll forever jump at the chance to collaborate with local creatives. When he’s not busy running a homestead with a bunch of beautiful babies and his lovely wife Tara, he’s making some pretty rad stuff, be sure to check it out!
Since he had a very specific vision for this already, we came in to consult on the logistics and to apply the mural to the wall itself. There was a LOT of trial and error, time spent in the shop making mockups and trying different tools to get the right texture. It’s not really distressed, but it is broken in and very layered. Using a drywall trowel, we used layers and layers of paint to give shadows and highlights in a variety of areas to add depth. There is a wide variety of subject matter in the mural too that tells different stories of our region!
The lounge is open to the public and has some fun games and sweet artwork (ahem*) to check out next time youre downtown!
