Today marks the 100th birthday of ’ Dundee Theater. It opened on Dec. 19, 1925 with a showing of the silent comedy “The Trouble with Wives” and the short film “The Fighting Dude.” Some 70 years after that, started attending its midnight movie series and first-run showings of indie classics like “Ghost World” and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” There may have even been a not-strictly-sanctioned viewing of a rock and roll documentary at 3am in that era.

For the past year, we’ve helped Film Streams roll out a celebration of the theater’s centennial, which included a revival of 10 classic films from each of the decades of its life. The series culminates tonight with Greta Gerwig’s 2019 version of “Little Women.” Throughout the series, we’ve helped with hand-printed posters and ephemera along with logos, merch and a marketing campaign.

Today, Seattle celebrates its first division title since 2001. Last year, we celebrated when the team’s communications office hired us to design annual yearbook.

On a very fast timeline at the end of Spring Training, we designed this 184-page 2024 program that was sold in their stadium all season.

The Mariners have been ’s favorite baseball team since childhood, so it was a dream come true to collaborate with them. ’s Guardians are scrapping for their own division title this week.

Maybe 2026 is the year for an HPS x Cleveland collaboration.

As part of our ongoing collaboration with celebrating the Dundee Theater’s 100th anniversary, Quentin printed up the third in a series of four classic movie posters. He etched the block on a precise laser built in 2025, then hand-inked and printed on a Poco Proof press from the 1910s.

The third poster is now available for sale at the Dundee Theater.

This spring we worked on a couple website projects to help showcase one of Omaha’s oldest and best homes, Joslyn Castle.

The first was a refresh, the second was a full website buildout with only a page and a logo to start with. Swipe to see more.

Hot off the (magazine) press! The fall edition of Nebraska Quarterly, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s alumni magazine, hit mailboxes this week. As alumni ourselves, we are proud to have helped design this edition.

We spent six months helping package up a dozen-spread list of 99 things alumni love about UNL.

In 2023, our friends at the Flatwater Free Press did an investigate journalism series on land sales across the state.

Their question: Who’s Buying Nebraska?

Our question: How do we illustrate that?

Turning difficult concepts into compelling illustrations is challenge we welcome. For this land purchase series, we used an initial concept of center pivot circles and tried to keep a simple, repeatable format over the course of four articles.

Our park presence expanded this year.

We designed new panels for display at Dahlman Park and Memorial Park that highlight each park’s unique history and community. Now on display until Nebraska weather inevitably takes its toll.

Soon, Omaha Parks will install panels we designed about downtown Omaha’s wildlife at Heartland of America Park at The Riverfront. And if you find yourself venturing beyond the city, you’ll find some signs we designed at Niobrara State Park.
