Okay I had to make a sign for Alabama. They haven't been here since 1999. Four new signs this year! The 96 box of Crayolas doesn't quite have the correct colors, but I try to come close.

So here is Alabama!

And our tradition continues...all eight teams are displayed in the windows and we are ready to play ball!

To make it even more special, we are attending the ribbon cutting tomorrow for the new practice field behind us on the Creighton campus.

It is baseball season on Cuming Street!

CWS begins Friday, and we know six teams that are coming. They are making this old lady work hard as three of them are new to the Chuck. Putting my coloring hands to work today I have come up with these. Look for them in the window beginning Friday, June 12!

Does a zero-waste print shop exist in Omaha? We think we found one.

When we met with them, we thought we were walking in to set up their recycling system. It ended up being a tour of how sophisticated their routine already was. So we just gave them a small landfill dumpster to catch whatever was left.

Need to print something? This is who we now use.

P.S. Zero waste is defined as 90% or more of material being kept out of the landfill or incineration.

The baseball field is getting closer to being done, but until then our parking lot is impacted. Fortunately, we have gracious tenants who are helping by parking up the street in a Creighton lot. They do have to play Frogger to get back here on foot, so June 5 cannot come fast enough!

Mike just took this shot from our roof...ballfield is coming along nicely! The series starts in 10 weeks, so they've got to get a move on to have this ready.
