Mission Nation Publishing

Mission Nation Publishing Mission Nation Publishing Co.exists to give a voice to Missionaries to America, and to promote a mission urgency among Christians and Christian churches.

Welcome to our website! Mission Nation Publishing exists to give a voice to the 'Missionaries to America'. These are men and women who have taken the missionary nature of the church seriously, and have risked everything for the sake of the gospel. The world wide church can gain from hearing their stories. It is our prayer that the Spirit they demonstrate will influence all who hear their stories.

To accomplish this our website intends to provide access to biographies being written about the missionaries, as well as other material that will encourage churches to share the love of God shown chiefly in His Son, Jesus. You will find summaries of interviews of missionaries, videos of those interviews, links to books about the missionaries as well as a blog about mission work and mission Bible studies. You may want to visit the Mission Nation Publishing page to follow the most current activities. We encourage you to register on the site as a member (go to the "Members" button above). When you do become a member you will be able to access the full length videos and download the news stories and Bible studies. Registering will allow us to send you announcements when new books are published. We are glad you are here! May the Lord bless you with a new energy and new resources to make the love of Christ real in this world."

“This Moses will bring his people to a different life.”

When Moses was nine years old, his pastor grandfather took him under his wing, gave him the name Moses, and began preparing him for a life of mission. He learned Bible stories, hymns, prayer, teaching, and preaching by walking alongside the man who raised him in the faith.

What began as a grandfather’s words over a child became the start of a calling God would continue to shape.

What started as a Spanish-speaking ministry grew into something more.

As children in the church grew up speaking English, the congregation adapted so the Gospel could be heard clearly by the next generation. Soon, families from many backgrounds found a home there, connected by faith, community, and a shared life together.

“You are on a mission field.”

What does Taco Bell and KFC have to do with the Church?

Rev. Hiruy Gebremichael describes churches like St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tucker, Georgia as “Taco Bell-KFC churches.” Different cultures under one roof, still distinct, but united together. When Hiruy came to America from Eritrea, he wasn’t planning to become a missionary. But after St. Mark welcomed Eritrean refugees into their congregation, something powerful happened. The church grew into a multicultural community worshipping together under Christ while still honoring different languages and traditions.

Stories like this remind us what the Church can look like when people step forward in faith and mission.

This Give STL Day, your support of Mission Nation Publishing helps share more stories like this and equips churches across America to welcome new neighbors with the Gospel.

Give today and help more churches live out the vision of Revelation 7:9.

A small church in Tucker opened its doors, gave them space to worship, and welcomed them with open arms. What started as one room grew into something more, and by 2009 they became one church with two missions, serving both Eritrean and American communities.

As he put it, they became like Taco Bell and KFC, two distinct cultures under one roof, sharing the same mission.
