This s**t ain’t for everyone. My vision became even clearer after my husband told me I need to make sure I avoid burnout. And that’s why I’ve been building this business. To avoid burnout. So why was I thinking I would be better off booking all these 1:1s where I was essentially the product? Kinda silly but at least I figured that out. Shout out to my babe for helping me realize that I need to be able to go with the flow in this season of life and not against it, and he’ll be taking care of me along the way like he always does. I love him so much!

I was under five.
Somewhere in a room I wasn’t in, my stepdad drove to my father and asked him to sign papers.
For years I was told those papers were adoption papers. That my father had signed me away. That I was not worth fighting for.
That was the shape of the silence I grew up inside.
It wasn’t true.
But finding that out didn’t give me my childhood back. It just clarified the shape of the absence.
I wrote about it. The full piece — “The Papers He Signed” — is up now for paid subscribers on Substack.
