A high-speed rail line connecting Toronto to Montreal & Quebec City is one step closer to reality. 🚄

The proposed line could reach speeds of up to 315 km/h and is expected to eventually carry millions of passengers a year along the busy Toronto–Quebec corridor.

Construction on the first segment, between Ottawa and Montreal, could begin around 2029 or 2030, with other portions to follow in phases.

For now, the exact path and timeline are still being studied as feedback from the public continues.
