No matter how much money my daughter would get, whether it was .$25, $1 or $20, she would shout “I’M RICH!”

We laughed about it as “that’s such a Stella thing to say” but then it hit me. God was reminding me of something that I was missing in my own life.

I realized that as a Daughter of the One True King, I can ALWAYS proclaim that I AM RICH.

For so long, I would look at my bank account and get so discouraged and only see lack. And if you’re a business owner, I think you probably have experienced this too!

You don’t feel rich according to what the world qualifies as being rich.

We can get so focused on what we don’t have, that we lose sight so easily how much we do have.

And while I know as business owners, it is important to make a profit, my challenge is to look beyond what we see in front of us and keep our eyes on THE Provider.

Let’s start looking at what we DO have and and looking at THE ONE who provides and remind ourselves that no matter what, “I’m rich!”.

And then thank Him for his many, many blessings He’s given us.

This hack is for you if you’re what I call a FREEZER when you get overwhelmed/anxious …

It’s walking outside WITHOUT your phone and talking with the Lord.

Everyday, we’re taking in SO MUCH INFORMATION thanks to these phones in addition to all the things we have to make decisions on as wives, moms and business owners.

We have so many decisions that affect other people and we desperately want to make the right decisions. And sometimes we just don’t know what that is.

The fear can easily set in about making the wrong decision and you feel like you have so many things to do that you don’t know where to start. You might feel the anxiety in your body, with either a racing mind, tightness in your chest or a pit in your stomach.

And so often, I find myself so easily scrolling on my phone to avoid all of this or I try to be force myself into doing something to distract me, only propelling my anxiety further.

That’s when the Lord nudged me to walk without my phone...to come away with Him to talk, move and enjoy the beauty around me.

At the beginning of the year, the Lord gave me two words: MOVE and BUILD.

That’s what started all of this. I didn’t know what to do next, so I would just move (walk). It became less about movement to burn calories or get my steps in and more about spending time with Him and allowing Him to speak to me.

I can’t tell you how many days I’ve walked and cried on the streets in my neighborhood talking it out with God. Some days I’m talking out loud, some days I worship and other days I just keep quiet and observe.

And at the end of my walk, I ask: “What do you want me to do next?” Because He’s only looking for us to focus on today.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” - Matthew 6:33

So if you relate to any of the things I’ve said, let me encourage you to remove the distractions and get outside and walk with the Lord and let me know how much it helps!!

I haven’t shared a lot on here lately…mainly because I froze after I launched TGC and I haven’t been able to get myself back to posting again. (I do this a good bit when I get inside my head too much)

So to get me out of this freeze state, I’m sharing moments that sparked joy for me the past few weeks!

Pic 1 - I made flour tortillas for the first time and they were actually edible and the family liked them! I’m discovering the joy of the process when it comes to baking. Something I didn’t think I’d ever want or be able to do.

Pic 2 - Our first member meet up. The vision I had for this membership came to reality through this event. It was full of vulnerability, tears, laughter and celebration. I’m so excited to do more of these!!

Video 3 - Creating content for ! Sometimes social media can feel so exhausting but this was so much fun!!! Lots of dancing, silliness and laughter.

Video 3 - Getting to watch have a ribbon cutting for her new space, . Lauren has been such a supporter of me and The Gathered Community, and it was such a joy to watch her officially launch this space with other female business owners and community surrounding her!

Video 4 - The Easter egg hunt was a hit for Stella! I’m so thankful for our sweet town for putting this on!

Pic 5 - Easter with my family. It was just a sweet weekend that we needed! Super thankful for all of us to spend time my mom and dad. ❤️

Pic 7,8,9 - Trying out for the fist time on the most perfect spring night! We celebrated my (very) belated birthday and her early birthday. And we couldnt have asked for a more beautiful sunset!

Pic 10 - A much needed date night in downtown Opelika with my hubs! We were kid-free and enjoyed wondering around to different restaurants and breweries in the area.

The truth is, there have been some really hard days the past few weeks but also a lot of joy and SO many things to be thankful for.

I’ll leave that there for tonight. ❤️🙌🏻

The coolest thing about meeting women through is I get to see them at all stages of their business.

I met at her first Gathering event in April 2025 when we held our event at .

I remember hearing Susan share the story about this place that had helped bring so much physical healing to her and her husband and that they were in the beginning stages of bringing this business to Auburn, AL!

I witnessed Susan leaving her full-time job to officially get the business off the ground.

I’ve watched her navigate so many highs and lows in the process of opening this business and praying for her when all hell seemed to break loose as they got closer to opening.

I’ve seen her faith stretched but also a determination to figure things out and make it happen - because she knew how important it was to open this place to help people in our community.

And now to get to visit her at is truly such a gift!!

To see ALL of the blood, sweat and tears that were put into this place come to fruition makes my heart so full.

What you’re seeing here was years in the making, and I am just so excited for what Susan and her husband, Mark, are doing at Degree Wellness!

Congrats, Susan, on providing such an amazing space for healing and health for our community!!! I’m so proud and inspired by ALL THE THE THINGS you went through to get here, and I’m so excited for what’s to come through what all yall are doing here!

Cheers to doing the dang thing!! 🥂

It’s launch day! The membership for female business owners is launching TODAY!

You’ve joined me in (almost) every day for the past three weeks figuring this out, with the ups and the downs, and now I get to do what I’ve been dreaming about - getting to support women who own businesses through the power of in-person connection, support and encouragement. ❤️❤️

I’ll share more at the end of the day (or tomorrow) to reflect on the day.

But we are here and I so am excited!

Day 20 - I got to experience benefits of membership today and it just reminds me how much we all need this!! More relationships. More support. More encouragement. More women spurring us on in our journey!

The crazy thing is that I’m going LIVE with the membership TOMORROW!!!!

I pray the Lord will use this membership to help every female business owner grow and thrive. 🩷 I pray that women are blessed by this and the spirit of serving others, and not just being served, will spread in this community.

We truly are better when we come together.

Let’s see how this membership goes!!!

Day 17 - Day in the life of going all in on .

Honestly, today was a day filled with a lot more personal things than business, but these days matter too! It’s not just about productivity, but living life along with business.

I typically dedicate Friday’s to more personal things and Friday nights are almost always family time.

The big thing for TGC was officially getting my business banking account up and running.

I’ve been operating under my old LLC and it was time to make it official and let it have its own bank account!

I’ve been avoiding this task for a while, so I’m proud of myself for getting that done today.

Counseling with Jillian has been such a blessing these past several months. It truly helps me process all the things going on, and God always leads us to where we need to focus in on.

Friday’s are also almost always after school treat at so we enjoyed our time there while Stella chowed down on her favorite yogurt concoction. (Not seen in video was an intense game of Disney character trivia)

Just a few hours later, we had a family dinner in downtown Auburn and then Stella and I walked to Neville Arena to watch our first gymnastics meet! It was a big one too - Auburn vs. Alabama.

We had a blast! Shout out to for providing us with tickets. 🙌🏻

It was a late night for us, so I’m off to bed for another big day tomorrow - with more stuff either way Stella, working on the platform I’ll be using for TGC members and also doing a bday celebration with family! (My bday is Sunday)

Day 16 - Going ALL in and building this in-person community for female business owners called

I’ve been sharing my journey of building this from the ground up, and today, I almost let anxiety get the best of me.

But I didn’t. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

The blessing of having 61 people on the waitlist for the membership quickly turned this morning when I started thinking of “what if” scenarios with having so many people.

The worry and fear stated to creep in and steal the blessing that the Lord has provided.

Thankfully, the Lord reminded me to use my imagination for Him…thinking about the what if’s that could be better than I could ever imagine.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” - Ephesians 3:20

Remember, you are a Daughter of the One True King, and what belongs to Him, belongs to you as His heir.

Take hold of His Joy, His peace and His abundance and remember that you’re called to do the natural, and He will do the supernatural.

The weight isn’t on us!!! We’re free to have fun with this and trust in what He is doing.
