“You can’t afford to go.”

People will always have something to say about what you do with your life.

You’re doing too much, you’re not doing enough, how you parent, for how you don’t. What you feed my kids. What you don’t. How you dress them. How you don’t.

And what do I get grief about the most? Adhd meds actually lol but after that....
Vacations.
“You should save.”
“You should spend it on this”
“Must be nice”

Yeah we could skip it. We could pay off our debts faster. Save it for emergencies. Wait for next year. What if you die waiting for that emergency?
We aren’t promised next year or even tomorrow.

I could’ve waited until money was saved and we weren’t living paycheck to paycheck.
But I would’ve missed making those memories with my kids. I’m giving them something no one can take away. A happy child hood full of love and family time.

Can we wait? Sure.
But we can also miss out.

So don’t let anyone steal your joy of the decisions you make for your family.

Here’s your permission slip:
Take the trip.
Make the memory.
Spend the time.

You can make more money. You can’t get back time with your children.
