🇬🇧❤️ 28-YEAR-OLD DAD DIES AFTER SAVING TWO PEOPLE FROM RIVER

Rushabh Patel, 28, lost his life after jumping into the River Great Ouse near Milton Keynes to rescue two people who were struggling in the water.

Rushabh reportedly managed to help both swimmers to safety, but he himself got into difficulty. After spending several days in hospital, the young father sadly passed away.

He leaves behind his wife and 18-month-old daughter.

But Rushabh's extraordinary act of giving did not end there. His family donated his organs, reportedly helping to save or transform the lives of five more people.

His brother described his final act as one of “extraordinary courage and sacrifice.”

One brave decision. Two people rescued. Five more helped through organ donation.

🚨 **MAN ACQUITTED AFTER ATTACKING AND STRANGLING 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN TORONTO**

She was just **seven years old**.

In August 2023, Ahmed Baig left his Toronto-area home after va**ng cannabis and encountered a family in a driveway.

The court found that Baig picked up the seven-year-old girl, threw her to the ground, punched her and strangled her.

Witnesses described him making bizarre and contradictory statements during the attack, including references to Allah.

Baig did not dispute that he attacked the child.

But on **August 13, 2026**, Ontario Court Justice Mara Greene acquitted him of assault causing bodily harm and assault by choking after accepting the defence of **non-mental-disorder automatism**.

The judge concluded that Baig experienced an unexpected cannabis-induced psychotic episode that left him acting involuntarily and therefore without the voluntary act required for criminal responsibility.

The Crown had argued that although cannabis affected him, his actions were still voluntary.

The case raises difficult questions about criminal responsibility when intoxication triggers an unexpected state of automatism.

PUNJAB MAN RETURNS HOME AFTER ALLEGED KIDNAPPING & RANSOM ORDEAL IN KENYA

Jalandhar resident Rakesh Kumar has returned to Punjab after what he describes as a terrifying ordeal in Kenya while trying to reach Italy for work.

Rakesh says he left India on August 4 after an agent promised to facilitate his travel to Italy. Instead, after reaching Kenya, he alleges that his passport, phone, money and other belongings were taken and that he was held captive and beaten. His family says videos of the alleged abuse were sent to them along with a $70,000 ransom demand.

According to The Indian Express, Kenyan police raided the location around August 10, rescuing Rakesh and another man and taking several alleged agents into custody. Rakesh remained in Kenya for weeks while legal and immigration formalities were completed.

His family had also contacted Indian authorities seeking help. After returning home, Rakesh urged others considering overseas employment to carefully verify travel agents and visa arrangements before paying money or travelling through third countries.

🚨 **NEW YORK MAN PLEADS GUILTY AFTER MARIJUANA-IMPAIRED WRONG-WAY CRASH INJURED 5**

**Miandad Khan, 38, of Dix Hills**, has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault and other charges stemming from a terrifying wrong-way crash in Deer Park, New York.

Prosecutors say Khan admitted he was **impaired by ma*****na** when he struck a vehicle on Deer Park Avenue and then attempted to flee.

He drove across the center median and into **oncoming traffic**, striking an SUV carrying two teenagers before crashing head-on into a Toyota RAV4 occupied by a couple in their 70s.

**Five people were injured.** The elderly couple suffered facial and spinal fractures requiring surgery.

Khan pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault, two counts of second-degree assault, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and third-degree assault.

He is expected to be sentenced to **2–6 years in prison on October 30, 2026.**
