I put together a little highlight video from yesterday's performance of Stiff Kitty. I can assist in creating social media content. This is just one example of what I do. A client had a not so unique situation and gave me the freedom to provide an out of the box solution. Some smaller live music venues have limited space in which to display posters for upcoming acts. What usually happens is the performer cuts back the number of posters provided to the venue. With few impressions often comes fewer attendees. I’ve created waterproof table top tent cards to compliment the event posters. There are printing companies that will make these, however the price inhibits many from pursuing this option. I developed a template which brings the price down to approximately $1 each. These will be heading to one of the Champaign area top twelve wine bars, Prairie City Wine Room in Paxton, IL. They will have the two sided tent card with information about the event, performers, social media links and a QR code to generate additional Facebook followers on every table, and an appropriate number of posters for the venue!

Here is the news I’ve been waiting to share. A few months ago I was contacted by 102.3 The Coyote for a project. They needed a video highlighting their community involvement for a submission to the Illinois Broadcasters Association. 102.3 The Coyote (WYOT-FM) has been named the Illinois Broadcasters Association’s Small Market Station of the Year! The station deserves all the credit, but I would like to think the video helped showcase their outreach. I haven’t been given the green light to share the video. If I do, I will be sure to share it with you.
