A good design project doesn't always start with design.

Sometimes, the first step is figuring out what isn't working—and what the piece actually needs to do.

The Fence Guys had a marketing piece that had evolved over the years as their business evolved. Rather than simply giving the existing piece a facelift, we stepped back, looked at how it was being used, and rethought what it could do.

We rewrote the copy, reorganized the information and created a new brochure designed to work alongside their proposal and give their team another useful sales tool.

Because “make it look good” is only part of the job.

The real fix?
Make it work better.
That's the Fleurish Fix.

More content isn't necessarily better content.

When we worked with Jennifer Boileau Mindfulness Coaching, social media wasn't about filling a content calendar just to stay visible. It was about finding the right things to say—and saying them in a way that felt thoughtful, useful, and true to Jennifer's voice.

Because when you have something meaningful to say, you don't need to say more. You need to say it well.

Strategy first. Content second. Always.

There’s a lot of pressure to do more when it comes to marketing.

More posts. More platforms. More content. More emails. More.

But more isn’t automatically better.

After more than 20 years in this business, one of the things I’ve learned is that good marketing starts with knowing what you’re trying to accomplish—and then choosing the right tools to get you there.

I don't believe in marketing for marketing's sake.

If we can't explain why we're doing it, we probably shouldn't be doing it.

More isn’t always more.

More posts. More platforms. More emails. More content.

But if you don’t know what you’re trying to accomplish, adding more marketing to the mix isn’t necessarily going to make your marketing more effective.

Good marketing starts with a purpose:
What are you trying to say?
Who needs to hear it?
What do you want them to do?

Sometimes the smartest marketing decision is doing less—but doing it with intention.

Make your marketing work for your business, not the other way around.

There’s something pretty special about working with clients who trust you enough to let you into the messy parts of running a business.

The hair-brained ideas. The pivots. The “wait, what if we…” moments.

Jenn, thank you for trusting us, laughing with us, and letting us be part of your journey. We love working with you, too.

That’s the kind of client relationship we value most.

Comparison doesn't just steal your joy. It can steal your momentum, too.

The more time you spend watching what everyone else is doing, the more likely you are to second-guess what you're doing.

Should you change your offer? Your branding? Your strategy? Your entire business model?

Meanwhile, you're busy looking around instead of moving forward. Your business doesn't need to keep up with someone else's. It needs to move in the direction that's right for you.

Say less. Mean more. And keep moving.

Need a little clarity on where your business should go next? That's where we come in. Let's talk.

Good email marketing isn't just about sending something to your list.

It's about knowing what you want to say, who you're saying it to, and why they should care.

We've worked with Jennifer Boileau Mindfulness Coaching for years, developing the strategy, writing the copy, and designing email campaigns that help communicate the depth of her work and keep her audience connected.

And while social media gets a lot of attention, it isn't the only way to stay connected with your audience. Email marketing is a powerful tool—and unlike social media, your email list is an audience you own.

For a business built around expertise, trust, and relationships, that consistency matters.

The pretty part is important. But the thinking behind it is what makes it work.

Looking for help with your email marketing? Let's talk.

Some businesses are easy to explain. Others require a little more thought.

Mission Transitions helps older adults and their families navigate some of life's biggest transitions—from aging in place and care management to downsizing and relocation.

For their brochure, we tackled both sides of the communication challenge: we wrote the copy and designed the piece, creating something that could clearly explain their services while still feeling warm, approachable, and human.

Because when your work is about helping people through complicated life decisions, how you communicate matters just as much as what you do.

Good strategy. Good copy. Good design. They all have to work together.

You know your business inside and out. And, that's a good thing—until it gets in the way of explaining it.

The more you know, the easier it is to overcomplicate your messaging with details, jargon, and information your audience doesn't actually need.

Your customers don't need to know everything you know. They need to understand why you can help them.

That's the curse of knowing too much.

Marketing entertainment isn't quite like marketing anything else.

You're not just selling a product or service. You're selling an experience—a reason to show up, buy the ticket, follow the artist, share the post, come back for the next show, and maybe take home the merch, too.

We've had the pleasure of working with comedians, musicians, performers, and event brands, helping them bring their brands to life across everything from tour and event marketing to websites, email, social, merchandise, and promotional materials.

And while every project is different, the goal is always the same: Make the brand as memorable as the experience.

Because great marketing doesn't just get people in the seats. It gives them a reason to stay connected long after the show is over.
