And that’s why I love “b-roll content” soooo much!

It’s the easiest content to film and can be used over and over and over again…

so after watching this video, if you still say you don’t know what to film. I don’t know what to tell you cousin 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

Before going out and buying that camera, I highly suggest you master creating content with your phone first!

I film 90% of brand partnerships and UGC content with my iPhone 15 pro max.

and 10 times out of 10 my content comes out, professional, crisp, and exactly what the brand asked for.

Here are the settings that I mentioned in the video:

Go to: Settings → Camera

Format → Most Compatible (under Camera Capture)

Photos → 24MP

Video Recording
→ HDR Video — OFF

→ 4K at 24fps (cinematic footage, everyday content)

→ 4K at 60fps (slow motion — travel, action, real estate)

Composition
→ Grid — ON
→ Level — ON

another key to an engaging video is being intentional with your angles!

Don’t be afraid to move your record different angles of one action. I can do a more in depth tutorial on that alone.

My assignment for you, try recording yourself doing one action just to practice and see how you want to visually capture your stories.

let’s talk about a-roll & b-roll 👀

A-roll = you yapping to the camera

B-roll = the supporting footage that helps tell the story

So if a brand asks for B-roll, they’re usually looking for product shots, lifestyle clips, bts footage, reactions, close-ups, etc.
