Of course, I’ll post pretty photos online, but that’s not all us social media managers do.

Yesterday was a very long day—I work around my kids’ schedules and I had a lot to do so everything was very spaced out.

I also spent time doing:
- market research: what changes are the platforms making? What challenges do my clients/do I also face?
- analytics 📈
- writing and planning content calendars and strategies to effectively market events
- research and planning to better streamline my work process and stay organized
- looking at KPIs and trying to figure out what I can better do to improve some of my clients’ goals

I also went to bed later than that and I’m running off of 5 hours of sleep today. 🤪

It’s not always hectic and crazy like this, but I love a good productive day!

Now—it’s almost time to shut that laptop for a weekend reset. 💻

Hi! I’m Ashley, a social media manager and content creator who always has an iced latte nearby and is obsessed with her Sony camera.

What I would start working on as your social media manager if you owned a coffee shop ☕️ ➡️

Some of these trends or ideas can cross over to whatever business you have—I’m all about creativity!

Coffee, fall, books, pumpkin spice, and pastries all go together. Seasonal offerings entice customers to come in, possibly for the first time ever. Even better if you can collaborate with another related business (maybe another local bakery or coffee shop?) and work on something together that’s only available for a limited time.

As far as social media goes, posting consistently, engaging with your audience, and reviewing your analytics and implementing some of these styles and ideas will get you right on track for fall. It’s important to engage and listen to your audience to keep them active and interested. We aren’t going for vitality and trends all the time—just when it makes sense!

What could an extra few social media posts a week possibly do for your business?

Well, they can:

- Increase your reach across social media platforms
- Further engage and foster the audience you already have
- Help you find the right people or clients you might be looking for
- Increase KPIs, ultimately increasing sales
- Help you find out what's working in your business as well as what isn't
- Show people what kind of services or products you offer

The New Year is just weeks away. Make the step to show up on social media! Because posting something is better than not posting at all.

The New Year is upon us and that means change awaits. Fresh starts, new opportunities, and different ideas will shape social media platforms.

Social media trend predictions for 2025:

- more creativity with video content
- long-form content will be more popular
- YouTube will make a comeback
- micro influencers will be in the spotlight
- influencer marketing changes will occur (think less in- your-face marketing and ads)
- themes of COMMUNITY ⭐️

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a really inspiring workshop: Freedom to Fluorish, hosted by ! ✨

I had a great time meeting fellow entrepreneurs and discussing struggles, achievements, and our journeys on finding clarity and courage to keep going.

This was a really fantastic event and I am happy I put myself out there. I highly encourage you to attend a workshop or networking event. Put yourself out there to meet new faces—you never know what great things will come out of it!

One of my goals this year is to attend more networking events and meet other fellow business owners. I cannot wait to see what else 2024 has in store. ☺️
